This is the old OS/2 vs. Windows debate revisited.
Back in the early to mid 90's, IBM went toe to toe
with Microsoft during the so-called OS wars. IBM lost
badly, not because their product was technically
inferior. If anything, it greatly outstripped Windows
in functionality, stability, and many wonderful
features. The problem was the interface.
